Customer Integration Specialist

Who Are We Looking For?

The Customer Integration Specialist reports directly to AlertDriving’s Vice President of IT Operations and Data Privacy. This person is responsible for implementing solutions that streamline and simplify user access to FleetDefense by managing, implementing and supporting all client, partner and vendor system and data integration projects. The Customer Integration Specialist needs to be personable, fair, transparent and organized. The person must have an ability to maintain control over project initiatives and lead the way at all times. He or she must have a desire to continuously learn about new technologies and determine how best to apply that learning to new integrated solutions. There is a need to think big picture, break complex problems into smaller components and develop solutions to fulfill project requirements. He or she must be seen as a dependable leader that can bridge the business, sales and integration functions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing several, concurrent client and partner system and data integration projects, including, but not limited to:
  • Learning Management System integration;
  • Data Feed Integration;
  • Single Sign-On Integration; and
  • Custom portal integration.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with client business and technical stakeholders as well as 3rd party vendor contacts;
  • Developing project specifications, critical paths and quotations for standard and custom integration and development projects;
  • Implementing and enforcing project deadlines and delivery schedules;
  • Communicating the value of AlertDriving’s integration, data privacy and application delivery capabilities by participating on sales demonstrations and other face-to-face client meetings;
  • Liaising with AlertDriving’s IT Analyst in order to plan and coordinate the testing of system enhancements and changes with integrated clients;
  • Communicating upcoming maintenance windows to integrated client contacts;
  • Providing ongoing support for integrated solutions with existing clients and partners by ensuring issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner;
  • Recommending, developing and implementing appropriate processes based on trends identified in the areas of system and data integration;
  • Delivering and testing the release of new courseware to existing client and partner Learning Management Systems beyond the initial contract year;
  • Proposing system enhancements to the development team as needed;
  • Assisting in the completion of RFPs; and
  • Participating in the departmental strategic planning process.
